This site is an all-inclusive spatial database for Iowa's water quality. Many of the geographic layers that are available in the Watershed Atlas site are represented here. In addition to these layers, the IOWATER and IASTORET sites are included, and several of the fields in the attribute table are hyperlinked to valuable water quality data on the IOWATER website. The hyperlink tool is available to use on all points in the IOWATER Sites and IASTORET Sites layers. Hyperlinks are also available on the Lakes layer and on the Stream (NHD) layer, where lake and river water quality data can be found as well as fish species information. Designated use data for all Iowa rivers, fish kill data, 2002 Iowa land cover, 1:24K topographic maps, and the 2002 color infrared air photography are also available in this site.
