Add a Map Bookmark

Please note that this tool is only available in the following mapping applications:

AFO Siting Atlas
Basic Map
Livestock Burial Zones
Recreation Map

The Add Map Bookmark tool allows a user to save a map view on their computer. As long as your Internet browser "cookies" function is enabled (for Internet Explorer, go to Tools menu - Internet Options), bookmarked maps can be revisited every time you visit the Interactive Mapping website. To visit your list of bookmarked maps and to zoom to a saved map view, click the Go To Map Bookmark tool.

1. In the Toolbar place your mouse over the bookmark map icon and a small pop-up message will tell you the function of the tool.

2. Click the icon. A small pop-up window will appear, prompting you to give a name to the new bookmark:

3. In the new window, click OK when you are finished.

This tool will add the map view to a bookmark on your computer. When you want to visit the map view again, click on the Go To Map Bookmark tool.
